Free Ways to Advertise Using Twitter

Social media is all around the internet and its 1.8 billion users. Knowing how to market using social media is a great inexpensive way to drive traffic to your website and generate sales for your business. A great social media platform and free way to advertise is using Twitter to market your products.

Your Twitter profile should be a little bit about you and a little bit about your business. This would also be a great opportunity to share a link for your business. Make sure you have a great picture of you smiling. Do not use a cartoon or a bad quality photo.

Once you have created your Twitter profile you can now start following people. Find someone with over 20,000 and follow the people on their list. You will only be able to follow a certain amount of people until you get more followers.

In order to get followers and start advertising your business on Twitter you will need to update your status. Make sure that 25% of your posts are for business links and the other 75% are for great quotes or helpful tips related to your business and other popular current events.

Be sure to check your direct messages and your @replies. Keep in touch with people and engage them in conversations. The more people you have quality conversations with, the more they will trust you and be open to asking about your business. With these few techniques, it will help you discover why one of the best free ways to advertise is Twitter.

The Best Keyword Research Tool

Making sure you have great keywords is the most important thing to learn while marketing your business online. Without keywords you are floating in the land of misfit websites. You want to be on page 1 of Google as quickly as possible in order to get recognized and increase your popularity.

Using the best keyword research tool, you will be able to compete with the big boys and get yourself up on Google if you use the method the right way. There are actually no tools that you need to use. All you need is Google, and an idea for a content title.

If you want to know how I can keep getting myself and my business on page 1 of Google over and over again... listen carefully.

The real secret strategy isn't really a strategy at all, it's the easiest thing to do. No secrets here, it's a 2 step process.

1) Google your content idea title
2) Put that title in quotes and look at the results

Now we can analyze the results. If the results show less than "400,000" IN QUOTES, then  you have a pretty good chance of getting your content on Google.

BUT: you also need to make sure that your content is unique. If you see 2 Ezine articles in places 1 and 2 in your search, then do not write another Ezine article. Write an article from another source like Articlebase or Articlesnatch. Same thing goes for Squidoo lenses and videos. Make sure there is no more than 2 pieces of content using the same source. If there are no videos in the search results, try to make a Youtube video with your keywords.

If the search results in quotes shows up with over 400,000 results then rewrite your content title to make the results get down to 400,000.

Example: "Ways to make money online" = 519,000 results. If you change the title to something less competitive like "best way to make money online" then your results get lower (156,000) so "best way to make money online" would be a great keyword to use in your content.

Once you have your keywords. You MUST have the EXACT SAME keywords in your content title, twice in the body and once in the tags.

P.S.. None of this is guaranteed but as you have seen in the videos, it has helped me and my team build a presence on Google. There are many other great tools out there but this one is free and seems to be working extremely well for a bunch of us.

Easy Ways to Advertise

Advertising your business does not have to be rocket science! There are MANY easy ways to advertise your business. Learning one technique and mastering it will give you the best results. The technique you decide to choose should be fun and allow you to show your personality. If you are using a method that is boring to you then you will not be motivated to keep doing it.

Video marketing is one of the easy ways to advertise. If you do not mind being in front of a camera and all over the internet placing a video on YouTube is pretty simple. If you are not comfortable in front of a camera test out a few videos and see your progress. If you are still not comfortable, then another method might work better for you.

Article marketing is another easy way to advertise your business. You do not need to be an expert writer in order to get your content and website on Google. All you need is proper spelling and grammar to get views to your content. If you post 3 articles a week and have great keywords, you will see lots of traffic and visits to your site.

Social media marketing on Twitter and Facebook work really well for some people. If you are on Facebook every day, it wouldn't hurt to post a few links on your profile and on your status. Just make sure you are not spamming your friends and be yourself. The same goes for Twitter, you can post a link in your profile and Tweet about your business and related items.

Other easy ways to advertise include forum posting, blogs and email list marketing. Choose your favourite method and master it in order to see the best results. Do not give up; marketing the easy way will take time, practice and patience!
