I hate hearing people say "My job sucks" because I know it doesn't have to!
We all run into so many people each day who complain about their job, their work hours, their boss and their overall 9-5 lifestyle. It is sad to see and be around these types of people. They’ve been complaining about this lifestyle now since the day they got their job. They never ask themselves, why am I always going to a job that I hate every Monday to Friday. Why am I putting myself through that if I don’t have to? If only they knew there were other options.
I remember my corporate job. It wasn’t awful but it definitely wasn’t freedom. The bus, the hours, useless meetings, tedious projects, the crabby coworkers and the low pay were definitely not an incentive to keep going into the office. I did it because like many of you, I didn’t know of any other option. I thought it had to be this way and my job wasn’t so bad.Most of us are raised to go to school, then to college or university and then get a job or career. We’re brainwashed into thinking that is the only viable option after school. Most people follow this type of thinking because most people are sheep and do not think outside the norm for fear of rejection.
Some of us are lucky enough to be able to know and network with the right people. People who are not sheep, they are rhinos. These people take charge and set their own paths in life. These people do not accept the norm and they never will. Entrepreneurs are constantly challenging themselves and those surrounding them.
Can anyone be an entrepreneur? Sure but it all starts with the mindset. Do you know that you can be successful? If you know that, then you will be successful because you won’t stop at anything until you’ve reached the top.
Being something other than a sheep requires constant knowledge and education. If you had the chance to escape the corporate world why wouldn’t you take it? Why would you settle and hate the life that you have created for yourself? Why not start something new, positive and be able to leave a legacy. Stop complaining about your life and start changing it. The days aren’t going to get any shorter and you’re time on this earth is limited. Stop making excuses and get to work.
